Filloux originally wrote Deep Time for Christine Bruno as Lucy, and Antoinette LaVecchia as Stephanie. DEEP TIME is the third play in Filloux’s trilogy about the climate crisis. (The other two plays in the trilogy are OLIVIA and MEDUSA.) It is also a two-character play like the other two plays in Filloux’s trilogy. 

 

Set against the backdrop of a rapidly changing world, DEEP TIME follows a long-term partnership strained by climate urgency, diverging life paths, and the emotional toll of living in crisis. At its core, it asks: What happens to love when the planet itself is at risk?
